About me
A 40 yr old Usability Engineer who loves the outdoors and calls Redmond WA home.
Why am I doing this?
Because 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in her lifetime. This means most of us have had or will have a beloved friend or family member stricken by this disease – I certainly have – and the only way to change that statistic is for us all to band together to support research for a cure.
I can’t wait for the day when breast cancer is one of those diseases that once upon a time afflicted people before there was a vaccine or cure. And I feel truly blessed to be able to take on the challenge of climbing Mt Kilimanjaro to show my support for this cause.
